New AFCDealer® Alerts Are Now Available

When you’re running an independent auto dealership, staying on top of account updates and inventory activity is part of the daily routine. Having quick access to the right information can make managing those responsibilities easier.

That’s why the AFCDealer® portal now includes expanded alert options, giving you more ways to stay informed about updates related to your AFC floorplan.

With the new AFCDealer alerts, you can choose to receive notifications by text message, email, or both, helping you stay connected without needing to constantly check the portal.

What’s New with AFCDealer Alerts

The latest update to the AFCDealer® portal expands how independent auto dealers can receive alerts and manage communication preferences.

Here’s what you’ll notice:

  • Canadian dealers can now sign up for automated text and email alerts.
  • US dealers will see expanded AFCDealer alert options and a refreshed alert management experience.
  • All AFC dealers can opt in to receive promotional updates via text message, along with other important account-related notifications.
  • Alert preferences can be updated anytime directly within the AFCDealer® portal.

These expanded dealer alerts are designed to make it easier to stay aware of important updates tied to your AFC floorplan and dealership activity.

Instead of needing to regularly log in to check for updates, AFCDealer alerts can notify you directly when something important happens — whether that’s an account update, a reminder, or a timely promotion.

For independent auto dealers who manage a busy operation, having those updates delivered automatically can help simplify your day-to-day account management.

Inventory Audit Alerts

We also offer the option to enroll in Inventory Audit alerts within the AFCDealer® portal.

These alerts are part of AFC’s updated Inventory Audit process. Turning them on today ensures you’ll receive notifications when you have an active inventory audit. 

Dealers who opt in to Inventory Audit Alerts will receive email and text alerts for important updates, and helpful reminders about your audits.

Inventory audits are an important part of managing floorplan financing, and these alerts are designed to provide clearer communication and better visibility throughout the process.

How to Turn On Your AFCDealer Alerts

Enabling AFCDealer alerts takes just a few steps:

  1. Log in to the AFCDealer®portal
  2. Navigate to My Profile
  3. Click the bell icon 🔔
  4. Select the alerts you would like to receive

Because alerts require an active opt-in, it’s worth taking a moment to review your preferences and choose the updates you want delivered by text or email.
