We’re excited to welcome Robert Staffieri to the AFC family! Robert joined us in June, taking on the mantle of Regional Director of Canada. Let’s get to know Robert a little bit better with a few questions—and see brought one of our newest AFC team members to us.
Q: What made you take the leap to join AFC?
Understanding and exceeding customer expectations has been a passion of mine throughout my career, no matter the role. I’m excited to continue doing this as part of the AFC team. It is clear that the entire AFC team is committed to serving the independent dealer and helping them achieve their goals. That mindset was obvious to me throughout the interview process and is even more evident now that I’ve joined the organization. We have a really powerful suite of products and solutions to help dealers at every stage of their journey, and I’m thrilled to help bring these offerings to bear for our customers.
Q: What are you most excited about as you start this new role?
AFC’s focus is on building relationships and understanding our customers—values that align with my own professional experience and accomplishments. I’m looking forward to getting to know our customers and learning more about their businesses, what their opportunities and pain points may be, and then working with our dedicated team to ensure we have targeted solutions in place that exceed customer expectations.
Q: You’ve been with the company for about two months—what’s stood out most to you in that time as you’ve met with customers?
My immediate focus has been on learning what our customers need and want, as well as getting fully integrated into the AFC team. What stood out to me most during my client meetings is that a “one-size-fits-all” approach just won’t do. Our customers have unique business needs and priorities, and focusing on a personalized level of service will have a significant impact on our customer satisfaction.
It has also been exciting to observe how the AFC team comes together to serve our customers. They are extraordinarily dedicated to the success of each customer, large or small, and that customer-centric energy really comes through in our meetings, further fueling the innovation of products and services to better meet customer needs.
